Important Information Regarding COVID-19
We hope that this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the past few months and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our office’s commitment to your health and safety.
We ask that you please be patient and understand that we will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs as we know that you are eager to be treated.
Infection control has always been a top priority in our practice. We follow recommendations and guidelines in accordance to the New Mexico Dental Association (NMDA), the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA).
Our waiting area will not be open. You will be asked to complete paperwork online prior to presenting. Upon arrival to our office, call us before entering to let us know that you have have arrived. We will let you know when the office is ready for you to enter. We ask that patients enter unaccompanied, if possible. For those patients who are minors or require a guardian to accompany them, we ask that this be limited to a single family member.
Please take your temperature the morning of the appointment. We will confirm that you do not have a fever upon arrival with a contactless thermometer.
Every person entering the office is expected to wear a face covering and will be asked to sanitize their hands immediately upon entry.
We have closed doors on every patient encounter room. Every dental chair, headrest, arm rest, overhead light, countertop and door handle is cleaned using an EPA approved disinfectant between each patient. All exposed surfaces are sanitized after every patient treatment or exam. All recommended PPE are used by each staff with each patient treated. Most importantly, handwashing occurs prior to every patient encounter.
I thank you in advance and extend my gratitude for your understanding and cooperation. Together, we can help keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office, and one of our staff members will be more than happy to assist you.
Joyce Jeffries, DDS
